Session 2: Monday - Friday, July 9 - July 13th & Monday - Thursday July 16 - July 19th
Times:Pick Up: 10:30am
Swim Lesson: 11:10-11:50am
Drop Off: 12:30pm
Who:Ages 4 and up
Cost:$43 for the two week session
Location:Granger Parks and Recreation will transport to McCreary Community Building in Perry for Swim Lessons

Description:Session 1: Preschool, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3

Session 2*: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, Level 6

*If we do not have enough participants in a particular level in Session 2, you will be notified after June 1 for Session 2 if this level of instruction will not be provided*

Granger Parks and Recreation has partnered with Perry Parks and Recreation to offer swim lessons. Transportation will be included and leave from the Early Learning Center and the Granger Children’s Center. Students not enrolled at Hawks Nest or Granger Children's Center can meet at the the Granger Community Center at 10:30am each day and will be dropped off at the same location. Students need to be in swim suit ready to go.

Preschool: Water adjustment, walk independently, blow bubbles, submerge head, and relax in water. (Ages 4 and 5)
Level 1: Skills with support, back float with kick, arm movement, and jumping in shallow water.
Level 2: Floating skills, change directions, turnover, begin to tread water, and safety skills.
Level 3: Survival strokes, front crawl with breathing, elementary backstroke, treading and diving.
Level 4: Deep water strokes, front crawl, breaststroke, treading, diving. This level is taught in the deep end.
Level 5: Stroke development, perfect the strokes taught in other levels, butterfly, endurance building.
Level 6: Fitness swimming, strengthening strokes and learning how to use this skill for fun and fitness.
