It is the mission of the Granger Parks and Recreation Department to create recreational opportunities for growth and enhancement by developing services and programs that promote citizen involvement and a strong sense of community while striving to increase the social, cultural, and physical well-being of its residents and visitors.
We currently are offering the following events:
- First Time Home Buyer Class: Wanting to buy? We’ll cover, loans, inspections, and more! Come find out how to get started!
- Mother/Daughter Tea Party: Come celebrate the girls in your life by joining us for a Mother/Daughter tea party including a craft and games. Mothers and daughters are encouraged to dress up for a garden party. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended ages 3-8 years old.
- Yoga in the Park: is designed for improving community health, energizing and relaxation. You are encouraged to bring a mat or a towel as well as some water and clothes you can move in. No registration for the class is required, just show up ready to relax, release and enjoy.
- Movie in the Park: Granger Parks and Recreation is excited to present Free Movies in the Park. Outdoor movies will be showing at Centennial Park. The film will be shown on a portable screen, and will begin at sunset. Admission is free, blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged.
