Letter from the Mayor

If you are a new resident in our community, let me welcome you on behalf of our City.  And if you are considering this area, I think you will easily discover why so many people are proud to call Granger their home.

We appreciate and celebrate the values that come from life in a small town, like a friendly wave from a stranger you pass or the way we rally around someone who needs a helping hand.  I am continually amazed at the generosity of those willing to give of their time to provide all of the programs and services we offer, as you will see when navigating our website.  We believe that children are our most precious commodity and we strive to keep Granger a safe haven for them to grow and learn.

Our City Council meetings are open to the public and are held at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in City Hall.  All public notices and meeting minutes are posted in the NE Dallas County Record.  You can also subscribe to notices on this website and be sure to sign up for local alerts and notices posted by our Police Department at www.nixle.com

I am honored to serve the citizens of Granger as a member of the City Council and now as their Mayor.  If you have any concerns or questions, please to do not hesitate to contact us.  Again, welcome to Granger.  You can “Believe It”!
